NBCU Announces TV Widgets

NBC Universal announced plans to release syndicated web widgets for news and entertainment properties including Dateline, Hardball with Chris Matthews, Meet the Press and NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams, NBC Sports, iVillage and DotComedy. Web 2.0 tech firm Clearspring has created widgets for CBS, the NBA and others — and will build the new content applications for NBCU.
