NBC announced plans to launch a “MyNBC” social-networking website in an effort to boost traffic and user interaction, giving fans the ability to post profiles and blogs and interact with Heroes, The Office, and other NBC shows.

Fans of The Office will roleplay creating company divisions and completing weekly tasks.

The NBC Talent Scout game will be modeled on highly popular fantasy sports games, and will offer access to top “casting agencies” to assemble their own slate of NBC talent.

The site will exhibit original programming provided from the broadcast shows for distribution across multiple platforms, along with web-originals such as soap opera Coastal Dreams and webisodes Prom Queen, LG15, and Afterworld.
